Lose weight wisely: diet by blood type

You must have noticed: your friend claims to have gained weight from potatoes, and the piece of meat your mother ate for another week reminds me of myself with a figure on the scales. The question is: why do some people become better than seemingly harmless foods? American doctor Peter D'Adamo found the answer: according to his theory, the main difference between people is not weight, height and skin color at all, but blood type. Learn how diet by blood type works.

Diet by blood type

There are four human blood groups in nature, and therefore four types of food. Thus, one and the same product can ideally suit one person, be useless for another and "neutral" for the third, and at the same time be the main pest in the nutritional system of the fourth.

Each blood group interacts in its own way with lecithins - the most important building blocks of cellular substances. Lecithins are found in all tissues of the human body and are regularly supplied to food. But at the same time, in chemical composition, the lecithins contained, for example, in meat, differ from the lecithins in buckwheat. A diet by blood type helps you choose exactly those lecithins that your body needs for a happy and harmonious functioning. And most importantly: "real" lecithins are excellent helpers in such a difficult thing as weight loss.

In his research, the legendary physician also relied on evolutionary theory, according to which each blood type appeared at a different time. Thus, their first carriers had a certain occupation, and hence taste habits. Together with Cosmo, look for "ancestors by blood" and determine which products are necessary and important for you.

Diet for the first blood group

The first blood type was called "hunting". Proper nutrition for the first blood group is predictable and includes foods rich in meat proteins.

Say yes:

  • red meat;
  • viscera;
  • protein vegetables (choose broccoli, beans and artichokes);
  • fatty varieties of sea fish and seafood;
  • olive oil;
  • nuts.

Say no:

  • gluten-rich foods (wheat, oats);
  • dairy products with a high percentage of fat in legumes;
  • any cabbage (including Brussels sprouts) as well as cauliflower.

Diet for another blood type

Representatives of the second group were characterized as "farmers" and supporters of vegetarianism and fruit eating. Consequently, meat products are not the most desirable guest diet for another blood group.

Say yes:

  • any vegetables;
  • vegetable oils;
  • cereals and grains (with extreme caution - contain gluten);
  • fruits like pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, fig, lemon, plum;

Say no:

  • milk products;
  • wheat dishes;
  • beans (difficult to digest due to high protein content);
  • drinks like soda.

If you have not even thought to give up meat, choose dietary varieties: chicken, turkey, veal. Contrary to vegetarian advice, you can benefit from any type of lean fish.

Diet for the third blood group

The third group is called "nomads". Representatives of this group can be considered almost omnivorous: almost every product is perceived by their body in an appropriate way.

Say yes:

  • sources of animal protein (preferably meat and sea fish);
  • eggs;
  • any dairy products;
  • cereals (except buckwheat and wheat);
  • vegetables (except corn and tomatoes);
  • of various fruits.

Say no:

  • pork and chicken;
  • walnuts, especially peanuts;
  • olive oil;
  • alcohol.

"Nomads" rarely suffer from overweight compared to others, so the diet according to the third blood group becomes, above all, a way to regulate metabolism and maintain good health.

Diet for the fourth blood group

The owners of the fourth blood group D'Adamo called them "puzzles". This group is considered the youngest of all, and was formed as a result of merging the first and second, so it combines their advantages and disadvantages.

Say yes:

  • soybeans in various forms (especially tofu);
  • fish and caviar;
  • dairy products with any fat content;
  • green vegetables and fruits;
  • rice;
  • berries;
  • dry red wine.

Say no:

  • red meat;
  • viscera;
  • beans in any form;
  • buckwheat, corn and wheat;
  • fruits like oranges, bananas, guavas, coconuts, mangoes, pomegranates, dates;
  • mushrooms;
  • nuts.

"Mysterious" people are characterized by nervous instability, as well as a weak gastrointestinal tract. But the immune system of the owners of a rare fourth group is characterized by sensitivity and adaptability to any conditions.

According to D'Adam, if you adhere to a child's blood type, the release of excess weight will certainly occur after metabolic processes are established and the cells begin to receive building material.
